Yeesh, sorry everyone about not posting in a while, for some reason I’ve had no blog motivation lately. I was working on a gigantic poker post but I just can’t seem to get it finished, so I’m gonna cut my losses and do a shorter one instead.
Summary of last few weeks: I’ve moved back up to 2/4 for good, and I’m having a pretty solid albeit kind of lazy month. Running well and playing pretty well too I think. But I’ve only played 41 hours… which is pretty disappointing. To be fair though part of the problem is that it’s been fucking cold, and playing poker while shivering uncontrollably is no fun. Why not just turn the heat up? Because I live in a shitty, er, quant old house that is both impossible and extremely expensive to heat. I’ve learned my lesson though, never living in an old place ever again.
Let’s see, what else is new… I saw Cloverfield the other day. Eh, it was okay – entertaining but not very interesting. The best part by far was seeing the trailer for Doomsday, which looks insanely awesome. Think 28 Days Later but directed by Michael Bay. I have a gigantic soft spot for silly action movies that embrace their silliness (Bay’s Transformers would be a good example), and Doomsday appears to be very much at peace with its own retardedness.
Bleh kind of a worthless entry but seriously, I’m incredibly cold right now.
